The 5-Part Agent System — Docs/Tools/Cadence/Checks/Gates

A reliable agent system has 5 parts:
1) Docs: what it is + rules + goals.
2) Tools: what it can actually do.
3) Cadence: when it checks and works.
4) Checks: tests, previews, validators.
5) Gates: human approvals and permissions.

Example:
- Docs = SOUL/USER/MEMORY
- Tools = browser, exec, notion
- Cadence = heartbeat every 30 min
- Checks = link checker + formatting check
- Gates = approval queue
